Dr. Ortiz is professor of Biometry at the University of Texas Houston School of Public Health at the El Paso Regional Campus. His activities include teaching biostatistics and SAS classes for graduate students and providing research support for faculty and students of the regional campus, as well as for the research community of El Paso. He received his Ph D in statistics from Texas A&M University.
